Our community is proud to preserve a unique piece of Newfoundland and Labrador’s resettlement heritage—original homes that were relocated by water from Hooping Harbour in 1969.
One of these homes has been carefully restored to reflect its original character and now serves as a living window into the past. Inside, you’ll discover memorabilia and stories from Lily and Ashton Cassell, whose family life helped shape the history of this remarkable place.
