Wooden Boat Museum of Newfoundland and Labrador
Explore our cultural heritage from the perspective of our traditional wooden boats. The museum actively learns from our tradition-bearers to pass on their stories, knowledge, and skills. We have a new exhibit in The SUF, located across from the Museum, as well as new hands-on activities in The New Activity Center for our visitors to enjoy. Additionally, we offer new boatbuilding workshops. We are building a Baccalieu Island Fishery Motor Boat. Be sure to check out our Motorboat workshops this season.
Memberships are available; become a member to support the Museum and help us keep sharing the history and culture of wooden boats and their builders. We are looking for members and sponsors.
The Museum has Model Punt Kit Boats for sale. Get yours today. Email, call, or drop by for one. We also ship them out.
Admission $10 adult, $8 senior, $8 children age 13+, $5 children, $25 family.
