With the beautiful Sandy Cove Beach, and vibrant green forest as its backdrop, our park has the ideal location. We are just walking distance from the famous Puffin Viewing Site, where you can see thousands of puffins, as well as many other species of birds, whales, and if you’re lucky, you may even see an iceberg. While we are famous for our root cellars, we also have hiking trails, restaurants, a Discovery Geopark Site, historic sites, and Home from the Sea Sealers Memorial. What you can’t find locally, can most likely be found in the neighboring community of Bonavista, just an eight minute drive form here.
