My Buddy Jimmy hailed from Toronto and got a Short term work Contract as an Actor doing Live Theatre Out In Central

Newfoundland.Needless to say.After working there a while.Jimmy fell in love with the Easy going Pace and The Outport Ways.Jimmy’s first encounter with a Server in The Local Pub got off to a bit of an awkward Start.

The Young Server took Jimmy’s order and Right away She knew He was not a Local Lad.

So She said to Jimmy.”You don’t belong here.Do You?”A bit taken back at her Boldness.

Jimmy replied.No,I am from Toronto.And of course her next Question was.”When are Ya Leaving?”

Nah Jimmy B’y She was just being friendly.But her Choice of words may sound a bit hostlie to a Come From Away Fella.

Jimmy got a Big kick of it.It was one of his favourite Stories to tell about his first visit to the Rock.Must of been Okay.Because Jimmy keeps returning to our Shores every Summer.
