“Downhome is a place to share everything great about Newfoundland and Labrador."  Growing up, some of Curtis's favourite memories were made at his family's cabin in Blaketown. One of his favourite Newfoundland and Labrador traditions is a traditional Sunday dinner, "I love a great home cooked meal." Outside of work, he's an accomplished athlete, a former junior hockey player in Nova Scotia, a 2024 Herder Memorial Champ and a 2024 Muay Thai National Championship bronze medalist. Curtis considers himself a self-proclaimed chef and enjoys being in the kitchen.
