My pet has changed my life
After only 3 puppies survived a devastating illness in their litter, I picked up little miss PennyLane, not knowing just how teeny tiny she even was. I wasn't prepared to see this 2 1/2 pound 4 month old wiener dog strut out to meet me. We immediately nick named her "Penny the pain lane" because of her constant barking and 4 am morning routine. When my soul dog Piper passed in her sleep at 7 years old, PennyLane and I were left alone together for the first time ever, and it was then that I promised her I would do everything I possibly could to protect her, love her and cherish her just like Piper did for the rest of her little life. We grieved hard together, and found a new life, and new ways to love and it's because of PennyLane that I didn't give up, she saved me in a million different ways and makes me smile every single day. I hope everyone gets to experience this kind of precious love just once in their life!
