"Dear Ron:I left Baie Vert in 1980 and moved to Alberta for work. I am owner and operator of my own Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing business. Recently I had a young fellow working with me and we got talking about plumbing. I mentioned the word Bidet.He jumped right in and said ""I came across one of them. I didn't know what it was. I thought it was a drinking fountain so I took a drink"" Well Ron let me tell you what a Bidet is. They are used mostly in Europe. There are very few here in North America. They sit next to the tiolet in the bathroom and are used to wash your underneath with a spray of water coming up the centre when you get off the tiolet In other words, it omits the need for tiolet paper.
