Dreams of Tomorrow
Dreams of Tomorrow
By: Rose M. Rideout
I dream so often of my dear home,
Where I lived till fully grown,
Life there was a different scene,
People were loving and never mean.
No doors ever locked you out,
You knew what welcome was all about.
The young and old were all the same,
You knew your neighbours all by name.
You knew your friends and their face,
No one seemed to be in a race.
I often dream of the day I'll return home,
I'll then be happy back where I had grown.
My dreams again will be reality,
The day I return to dear old Newfie.
