Father
I wrote this poem for my dad for Father's Day 2000.
Head of the house,
Top dog,
Master of all he surveys,
Jack of all trades,
Bread winner,
Provider,
Councillor,
Judge, jury and executioner,
And last, but of most importance,
My dad.
The man with the winning smile
Whom I love above all men,
With every throb of my heart.
Thanks dad
For being my father.
