New Found Land
Unemployment, is not an enjoyment as we all know.
But, unemployment is all we have, since the work here is very slow.
Time has passed, years flew by; people come and go,
here on this little island, that we all still call home!
Home is where the heart is, the money may not flow,
as people come and go here, I want you all to know…
If you have an income, which helps you out just fine,
stay where you’re at, don’t move back here,
unless you need some time.
Time to do nothing but look out at the bay,
cause by the time 6 months pass by you’ll listen to what I say…
Don’t plan for any future, not here in this place called home,
the work, the money, the people have all gone elsewhere to roam!
