The Tilting Way
"my visit to tilting was a blast that's for sure, i'm home three days in detox but that is no cure. i've learned a few things while i was there, if the hangover lingers... go on th beer! the talent and music of the people was true, no electronics or dubbing to make a debut. guitars, accordions and real voices singing, every song played held a strong meaning. i listened to stories of the islanders ways, and how things were done in the settlers days. some old traditions will still carry on, because folks like you honor those who are gone. already i miss the saltwater seas, and the sight of a child allowed to run free. no sirens or violence or worry at night, peaceful sleeps to be had untill morning light. the houses and landscapes are something to see, but it's the heart of the people,i take with me. i hope to return to your hometown someday, to live the rest of my life... the tilting way.
