Hi there, My name is Todd Anstey, during this difficult time for all of us I have a short story of inspiration that I'd like to share. As we know our seniors have been hit particularly hard during Covid-19, isolating from their families and in the worst cases losing those they love the most. This post is about an 83 year old man, from Triton, NL, a retired miner with a grade 10 education who sat at his kitchen table one day armed with nothing but a mechanical pencil, several pads of paper and wrote a 461 page book! That's over 100,000 words about the Green Bay area where he grew up and his life in Newfoundland. This man is my father, Archie Anstey. He is living proof that it doesn't matter where you came from, or what your circumstances are, or how old you are, everyone has it in them to do extraordinary things!
