Our Veterans
In the November (2012) issue on page 127, "Our Veterans," in the second row down, the solder on the far right, I'm pretty sure, is my uncle, James Flynn of Norris Arm South. He served with the 166 Field Regiment. He was killed in action April 7, 1943. He was my mother's brother. My mother was Margaret Ryan (nee Flynn). His brother, Pat Flynn, was killed one year later at Buchans Mining Company in Buchans, Newfoundland. Submitted By: NULL
