I was listening to the news and I heard something about raising an issue about medical, well I would like to raise an issue about our Trans Canada - The Gulf. I can remember people talking when I was a child about our Trans Canada - The Gulf. Well, I have travelled the Gulf on our ferry system; I would say over the last 35 years of travel, I have crossed the Gulf on all the ferries in calm and rough weather. This last trip, Jan. 20, 2012 and the Blue Puttees, was the worst I have endured. I really feared for my life. Are our lives being jeopardized by ferries that are not suitable for our waters? Do Newfoundlanders have enough voices to do something? The prices increase, the service is beyond worst. I am getting older; my trips are limited - but I hope young Newfoundlanders get on the bandwagon to see what is going on with their Trans Canada - The Gulf.   Submitted By: NULL
