During our recent trip to Runaway Bay Jamaica with friends, my husband insisted that he take along his April issue of Downhome to read while travelling. We found that we as Newfoundlanders have a lot in common with the Jamaican island people. They're friendly, fun, and proud of their island heritage just like us.
