Children of the Southwest Arm region need a proper facility in which to exercise and have fun. At present, there are very few programs in the area that focus on physical activity and recreation. The health and well-being of people in the area is of paramount concern and facilities such as this are critically important. We intend for the playground to be utilized by all age groups and be wheelchair accessible. We hope to replace the small amount of damaged/outdated equipment and fencing with safe, modern playground and sporting equipment. The addition of park benches, picnic tables and a green space with trees will also create a beautiful area for adults and seniors.
