This is a photo of a school class somewhere in Newfoundland in the early 1900s. My grandmother, Lena Mulley of Blackhead Conception Bay, is the teacher in the back row. We know she taught at Swift Current School under the Sound Island Board 1917-1918 and 1918-1919; then at Boswarlos under the St. George's Board 1919-1920, and finally at the Cape (not sure if this word is correct) Cove school in Newtown under the Methodist Board of Education 1920-1921. This photo has been in our family for a long time but no one knows the school.
