I am standing in the bell tower of the Church of Santa Domingo in Lima, Peru, looking out over Plaza de Armas (the main square) and the Cathedral of Lima (Roman Catholic), which was completed in 1622. The Cathedral has 14 side chapels. This plaza is the heart of the old city. I was here in early July 2013.
