Having never travelled outside of Canada, my husband Paul and I, along with our friends Peter & Eleanor Marche and Clyde & Elsie Russell, had the opportunity to travel to Varadero, Cuba in April 2010. The island paradise was breathtaking. We enjoyed a catamaran cruise to Cayo Blanco, "White Key," a small paradise half an hour away from Varadero, Cuba. We swam with the dolphins, explored the beautiful beach, and enjoyed a fabulous meal. No trip is complete without a Downhome magazine and wonderful friends.
