Recently my brother-in-law, Brendan Thorne (originally from Portugal Cove, NL) had to make a trip to Singapore on an assignment from his workplace (Dezurik, Cambridge, ON). Since this is such a long trip (approx. 18 hours) Brendan wanted something entertaining to read while travelling. Along with some other good Newfie publications we gave him our February issue of "Downhome." Here's a shot of Brendan standing in front of Hotel Miramar, Singapore.
