Trinity Loop Railway Village
I wonder how many readers remember Trinity Loop Railway Village. According to this postcard, it offered meals in Conductor's Choice Diner, an authentic Newfie Bullet Car from the Newfoundland railway; rides on the miniature train, 'Trinity Loop Express' around 2 1/2 kilometres of original Newfoundland railway track; the Railroader mascot, 'Choo-Choo Charlie,' as well as rides in the park, bumper boats, and other attractions. The Village is now history. Flooding following Hurricane Igor washed out much of the railway. The attraction closed in 2004. My wife and I have fond memories of taking our children there many years ago. Burton Janes, Bay Roberts Submitted By: NULL
