Temporary Vacation Relief Became Permanent When Love Entered the Picture!
My dad, William G. Pike, who was in the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, was sent to Grand Falls to relieve for vacation. That became permanent though when he met and fell in love with my mother! (Mildred McFarlane) This is a picture of him taken at the top of Cabot road in Grand Falls circa 1943. Submitted By: marilyn sveinson
