We are only as old as we think<br /> <br /> Like many Newfoundlanders, my mother-in-law, Shirley Fong is a diligent and warm-hearted person. She is also a delightful and optimistic person. She is 90 this year, but she keeps telling us We are only as old as we think. She still reads and does crossword puzzles every day, she also bakes and does dishes and laundry. Her alluring personality makes her an admirable mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her birthday is in May and, as the Lobster season is in full swing at that time, her family holds a Lobster feast to celebrate her birthday every year. This year 28 family members, from far and near, came together at Botwood including her sister, six children, 8 of her 10 grandchildren and 4 of her 5 great-grandchildren. <br />   Submitted By: Jianying Yang
