Students from Mgr. Scheffer School in Lourdes de Blanc Sablon, Quebec, on the Quebec-Labrador border, went to Honduras in Central America after fundraising for a year. They spent a week with families while they helped to build a school in a small town. A part of the money they fundraised went towards material for the school, and that was the point of the whole trip. After, they got to visit two towns in Honduras, Tela and Copan Ruinas (where the picture was taken). They all had an amazing time and it was definitely a changing experience. Everyone was just so nice and amazing, and it helped them to appreciate the small things. Also, they got to visit some historic places such as the Maya Ruins, which was incredible. They would all go back tomorrow if they could!
