Another Newfoundland Party Rocks in the New Year in Ontario!

The Newfoundland & Labrador Heritage Club of Dryden, Ontario had multiple celebrations this New Year’s Eve. A New Year’s Eve Ball which was in part a fundraiser for Dryden high school scholarships included many activities that put the crowd in a party mood as we celebrated our 15th year as a social club here in Dryden. We had a sit down supper and toasted Newfoundland and Dryden and the people who have helped make this club what it is today. Newfoundland trivia questions really got the people in the mood as non-Newfoundlanders tried to answer questions relating to our culture. The Newfoundland New Year was rang in at 9:30 with a shooter toast to the Rock and then at 12:00 midnight we joined with the rest of Ontario in the countdown. A great time was had by all as we danced the night away with great Newfoundland and country rock music.
