This is a shot I took of my bleeding heart plant when it bloomed this year. My mother in law, Minnie Strickland, always had one in her garden on Allan's Island, Lamaline, and I brought it for me and my kids to remember her by. She had brought hers from Little Heart's Ease where she grew up, many years before.
