We were very fortunate to have our wedding in Parker's Cove, Newhoundland on June 16th, 2006. I have always loved Newfoundland ever since I started visiting my grandparents as a little girl. Going there every summer was such a joy. I longed for the rock so much and could not imagine a wedding anywhere else. I brought my Alberta born and raised fiancee and showed him exactly what I have been bragging about all these years. We had a beautiful wedding thanks to the hard work of my parents, sister and family . It also would not have happened without the generous help from friends and family in Newfoundland, they made the day very special for us. We had many people attend from the mainland who raved about the beauty and generosity of the province. We are looking forward to our next visit in the summer. I just can't get enough and as I maintain the traditional visits to Newfoundland my new husband will be there with me.
