Pineapple Baby Back Ribs

3 cups of pineapple juice

2 tablespoons of soy sauce

1 ½ tablespoons of mustard powder

? cup of ketchup

4 cloves of minced garlic

2 teaspoons of ground ginger

1 ½ cups of brown sugar

? cup of red wine vinegar

1 ½ tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

½ teaspoon of ground cloves

½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper

1 (2 pound) slav of baby back pork ribs

1 (12 ounce) bottle of barbecue sauce

These baby back ribs take some preparation time, but if you love pineapple, it will be well worth it.

Pineapple Baby Back Ribs

Using a large bowl, mix together the soy sauce, pineapple juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, mustard powder and ketchup.
Add in the cayenne pepper, cloves, garlic and ginger.
Cut the ribs into pieces for serving, and put into marinade.
Cover and refrigerate overnight, or as long as possible. 8 hours is ideal. Turn occasionally.
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.
Put the ribs in a suitable baking dish, and cover with marinade.
Cook for 1 ½ hours. For even cooking, turn occasionally.
Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
Barbecue ribs for about 15 to 20 minutes. Baste with barbecue sauce, and turn frequently.
