Crunchy Tossed Salad

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 large head iceberg lettuce, torn in bite-sized pieces
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1/3 cup sesame seeds, toasted
4 green onions, sliced
3/4 cup chow mein noodles

Whisk together the first 5 ingredients and chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Just before serving, combine lettuce, bacon, almonds, sesame seeds and onions in a large bowl; add dressing and toss. Top with chow mein noodles.
