Strawberry Sangria Cocktail

1 container frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed
½ can each of frozen orange, strawberry and banana fruit juice, thawed
1 (750 ml) bottle blush white Zinfandel wine, chilled (or your favourite blush wine)
2 cans lemon-lime soda (eg. 7Up), chilled
3 fresh whole strawberries, halved, for garnish
1 fresh lemon, for garnish

2 cans lemon-lime soda (eg. 7Up), chilled

Place a fine mesh strainer over a medium bowl and pour thawed strawberries and syrup into strainer. Using the back of a spoon, press the mixture through the strainer to remove seeds and pulp. Pour strawberry liquid into a 3-quart pitcher. Add the fruit juice and wine. Stir and refrigerate. Just before serving, stir in the soda. Serve in glasses over ice. Garnish each glass with a strawberry half, lemon slice and zest.
