Tuna Noodle Casserole

1 (8 oz) package wide egg noodles
1/4 cup butter, cubed
4 slices American cheese
1 (6 oz) can tuna, drained
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 350°F. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 min. or until al dente; drain. In a 1 1/2 quart glass casserole dish, layer noodles, butter cubes, 2 slices of cheese, 1/2 the tuna, and 1/2 the soup. Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients. Top the casserole with breadcrumbs. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 15 minutes.
