Hot-Buttered Cranberry Punch
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
3/4 tsp ground cloves
2 (16 oz) cans jellied cranberry sauce
1 quart pineapple juice
Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Butter
Take out a crockpot and add water, brown sugar, salt (if desired), cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and cloves. Stir well. In a bowl, mash up the 2 cans of jellied cranberry sauce with a fork. Add the cranberry sauce and pineapple juice to the crockpot; stir well. Turn the crockpot on low and simmer punch for 3-4 hours to allow the spices to meld with the liquid. Serve punch by ladling the drink into mugs. Add a pat of butter on top of each serving and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
