Sauce for Pudding

1/2 cup sugar

3 tbsp. flour

1 tsp. grated lemon rind

1/4 tsp. salt

1 1/4 cup boiling water

3 tbsp. lemon juice

2 tbsp. butter/margarine

Combine first four ingredients. Add water. Cook, stirring constantly, over direct medium heat until sauce is thickened. Blend in lemon juice and butter/margarine.
