Moose Stew

Difficulty: easy Prep Time: Five Minutes Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less
3 lbs moose, cut in small pieces
1/4 lb butter
6 cups water
Salt
Pepper
2 carrots, chopped
2 parsnips, chopped
1 small turnip, choped
10 potatoes, chopped

Brown moose meat in hot butter; add water, and salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer, adding a chopped onion after about an hour of cooking. Cook for another hour, then add remaining vegetables. Cook for another 30 min. or until vegetables are tender.
