Holiday Cake

1 cup butter or margarine
8 oz cream cheese
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup mixed fruit or peel
1 cup cherries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup flour (dredge fruit)

1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup mixed fruit or peel
1 cup cherries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup flour (dredge fruit)
Cream butter and cheese. Add sugar, cream well; add eggs one at a time. Blend in flour and baking powder. Stir in fruit and nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan and bake 300* F for 70-80 minutes.
