Queen’s Sails I
A photo taken around 1943 near Wesleyville. It shows sails being used to help the horses haul firewood from Northwest Pond to Wesleyville. I think the men in the photo are Arthur Binkey, Chicago, IL (with scarf), George Burry (my brother), Les Andrews and Ned Andrews and our horse - "Old Queen." Arthur Binkey was a U.S. soldier stationed at the radio-aircraft-tracking station "On the Ridge" back of Wesleyville (1942 - 1946??) Submitted By: NULL
