Advance party of the Edmund Hillary led TAE to Antarctica in 1957/58.
They had been transported to the continent aboard the MV Theron skippered by ice captain Harald Maro. I met several of them including Hillary later after working on the Theron in 1961-62. Submitted By: john christopher
