Bourbon Pecan Pie
½ cup brown sugar
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
½ cup light corn syrup
3 large eggs, beaten
2 tbsp bourbon
2 cups pecan halves
1 (9-inch) unbaked deep-dish pie crust
Gather all your ingredients and preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Mix white sugar, brown sugar, and butter together in a bowl.
Stir in corn syrup, eggs, and bourbon, then fold in pecans.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and continue to bake until the pie is set, 25 to 30 minutes more.
Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack. Allow to cool completely before serving. Yields one nine-inch pie.
