Multiple forms of instant communication in the modern world make the old-fashioned postcard of yesteryear seem even more charming. Tattered edges help tell the stories behind their postal journey between loved ones, while the messages on the reverse still speak to us today.

A Squid Among Them
It was my boyfriend's first time in Newfoundland; wasn't he surprised when we fished a squid with our mackeral! He was surprised as it was the first time he's ever seen a squid.
Found in an old photo album that contains many Christmas cards and postcards of the early 1900's.
